Yes, You can toggle between connected cameras, microphones and speakers that are built into your mobile device using the control buttons. (DigiSender Live works best when Tutors operate their class from a laptop) Operating a class using solely the app limits access to guests
You can choose what camera and microphone you wish to add to your class
The meeting room owner can set conditional access controls. Here are all the reasons you may not be able to enter a meeting:
1. The meeting host does not recognise your sign in details
2. The meeting room host is not yet ready to start
3. If the host has created a PIN entry – you will be asked to enter the PIN correctly before access is permitted
Make sure you control your volume up & down on screen and avoid using any system audio. Microphone sources should connect directly to your microphone source
DigiSender uses dynamic technology to ensure smooth motion video and hi-fi quality audio. In cases of restricted bandwidth both quality and frame rate may reduce automatically. Avoid use of mobile networks such as 4G and 5G networks as DigiSender Live requires contact upload and download speeds which many networks cannot support
The maximum number of Students permitted to an individual class room is determined by your computers performance abilities and the broadband internet speed
Yes, simply download the app to your mobile device and ensure you use the same login details as your desktop. Enter you created Classroom and select the camera on your mobile device you wish to share and then request to join the room – this request is automatically accepted as you are recognised as the owner
DigiSender Live only works using the App or on desktop machines able to support latest browser technology such as Windows 10, Ubuntu 20.04, iPADOS 14.03, MacOS 11.1, Android 8.0 upwards
Lessons are an important way to schedule future meetings using DigiSender. Lessons enable you to invite guests using an automatic booking form where an optional entry cost can be set. Lessons also allow tutors to pre-determine their student list by populating a participant list. This automatically emails details of access codes to each participant you have chosen to add. The app provides built-in calendar functions for both students and tutors
When you create a future lesson, emails are sent to participants. Each email includes the option to add the event to any work or personal calendar that you choose.
Creating a lesson allows you to set start & end times for lessons as well as set a cost for the student to enter. If you make the lesson public an automatic booking form URL is created allowing you to share the lesson with prospective guests
The person that created the service is responsible for setting the cost. You can pay for their service using a desktop computer or within the app
